Comprehensive Medical Update

ACLS Full Course (Students) January 11-12, 2017

Prerequisites:    Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and fax a copy of your card to 814-269-2966. You must have a strong background in dysrhythmia recognition and cardiovascular pharmacology.   No one will be accepted into the course if these prerequisites are not met.

Course Description:  This two-day course provides up-to-date information and hands-on practice related to the current American Heart Association recommendations for the emergency evaluation and management of adult cardiac patients.  Pre-course preparation is necessary.

Price of Course: $85 - Students + $40.- Book, Total:  $125.

PALS UPDATE COURSE

For individuals who have previously completed PALS.  This course provides up-to-date information relating to the current American Heart Association recommendations for the emergency management of pediatric patients.  Lectures and case-based practice stations are followed by skills and written evaluations.  Pre-course preparation is necessary

Participants must provide a copy of their BLS and PALS Provider card.  Keeping in compliance with AHA guidelines, there is no grace period on expired PALS Provider Cards.  Persons with an expired PALS card will not be accepted.

ACLS Update Course

Description:Advanced Cardiac Life Support is designed to provide physicians, nurses, allied health personnel and emergency personnel with a common understanding of the Cardiac Life Support through combined lectures and practical instructions in the necessary psychomotor. All materials presented during the course are according to the standards of the American Heart Association.
